We're on a 'crusade' of sorts. That'd be myself & skypipe. YOU can join too.

GO HERE for some info on battered men. SRSLY, you'll be shocked. Hopefully, enough to make you want to do something about it.

AND HERE if you want to show your support.

3 li'l words to relieve stress: Just. Do. It.
ZOMGosh, my art teacher is so friggin kewl. Not only does she listen to Placebo (she played Pure Morning in class!! & o'course, I was the only one who knew & o'course, I sang along), she has also seen Velvet Goldmine!!!! It's funny cause I never asked her & I only found out when we were doing a critique of my sculpture. After everyone had their say & was baffled enough, she talked about VG-->how she's seen it, how it's got glitter, glam & sexual ambiguity & how I represented that on my sculpture (which she said she loved!!). Twas a nice surprise. I love it when that happens.
My x-mas tree is so very over-the-top. SO glam. There is a motley assortment of trinkets hanging on it & I can barely see green. And that's w/ the lights turned off!! Didn't think my uncle could outdo himself this year. When will I learn.. And it's not just w/ the tree, which wasn't so "full" in the beginning. But I've kinda gotten used to it being overdone. It doesn't feel the same when it's only moderately sprinkled w/ ornaments. Anyway, that's what other x-mas trees are for. I get this weird, happy feeling when I see others that are less decorated. When I see ours I just get full-blown giddy.
I realized that I've been listening to Placebo every single day..for 7 months straight. If that's not obsessed, do tell me what is. I need my daily dose. Whether it's several songs or several albums. It's never just 1.
Oh Placebo.. How you slay me!!
Hehe, yesterday's holiday send-off shindig was fun. Sophie, tell yer parents NOT to get ya any John Hiatt CDs!!
Hmm.. I'm sure I wanted to say somethin else. Ah well. Anyjoe, to my whole Flist--HAPPY EVERYTHING!!!! ESPECIALLY CHRISTMAS!!!! Don't forget to ROCK THE CASBAH!!
